Description
Are you dealing with an employee who has functional limitations or a medical condition and are unsure how to respond? Are you hesitant to intervene for fear of making a mistake, requesting the wrong information, or failing to meet your obligations?
Rest assured, you are not alone.
The duty to accommodate is among the most complex areas of human resources management. Between employer obligations, employee rights, medical information, collaboration challenges, and legal risks, it can sometimes be difficult to know where to begin.
This training was specifically designed to help you navigate these challenges. Intended for HR professionals, managers, and employers who already possess a basic understanding of human resources, this one-day immersive program will help you understand the foundations of the duty to accommodate.
Most importantly, you will learn how to apply these principles in real-world situations, whether you work in a unionized or non-unionized environment.

- Determine whether a situation involves a disability requiring accommodation
