Operations Coordinator and Executive Assistant
Sophie Picard is at the heart of Novare’s operations. With more than 15 years of experience in human resources and administration, as well as more than 10 years of experience as a translator, proofreader and reviser, she coordinates a wide range of activities essential to the smooth operation of the firm and the client experience.
Her professional background includes roles with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and the Laurentian Pilotage Authority. These experiences allowed her to develop a strong understanding of organizational realities, the needs of leadership teams and the importance of effective administrative and operational support.
Having herself worked closely with various consulting firms in her various roles, Sophie has a concrete understanding of clients’ expectations when they call on external professionals. She knows that beyond the expertise sought, availability, quality of service and effective coordination of interventions often play a decisive role in the client experience.

Novare’s Anchor Point
Within Novare, Sophie coordinates appointments, administrative follow-ups, billing, events, trainings, communications and several initiatives related to the firm’s development. She also acts as a resource person to ensure liaison between clients and team members.
When a client tries to reach Catherine Deslauriers or Sophie Lalancette and they are not immediately available, Sophie is often able to obtain the necessary information, understand the context of the situation, assess its urgency and coordinate next steps with the professionals concerned to ensure prompt and effective follow-up.
Her role also leads her to coordinate several projects that contribute to Novare’s development and social engagement. Through her involvement in organizing the firm’s activities, trainings, events and initiatives, she contributes in a concrete way to advancing Novare’s vision, including by supporting projects for the Parkinson’s community.
Valued for her versatility, rigour, service mindset and ability to manage several projects simultaneously, Sophie contributes every day to delivering a client experience aligned with Novare’s values.
